About Jazmond

Dear next client,

It is part of my life's journey to make mental health care more accessible for all. For far too long, mental health care has been treated as a luxury, leaving many people with the belief that you have to be "crazy" or "rich" to have a therapist. Instead, many of us have learned to normalize our struggles, mask our pain, and cope in ways that may help us survive but don't always help us heal.

I hope to provide you with a safe, culturally responsive space where you can heal from past and generational trauma, better understand your emotions, and develop healthy tools that move you toward the life you want. A space where you can learn to build healthier relationships, love others without losing yourself, and allow yourself to receive love, too. You deserve that.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving clients in Colorado. I earned my master's degree from the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work and have over 10 years of experience helping others. I work with teens ages 14+, adults, couples, and families experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, difficulty managing emotions, relationship and family conflict, and mood and personality disorders. My work is grounded in genuine connection, practical skill-building, and the understanding that our experiences, families, communities, and cultures all shape how we move through the world.

Originally from the vibrant city of Chicago, I developed an early awareness of how untreated mental health concerns can impact everyday life. That awareness eventually grew into my passion for becoming a therapist.Outside of therapy, I enjoy exploring Colorado with my pup, traveling, painting, and expressing my creativity through hairstyling. I believe we get one life to live, and I try to embrace the present while creating a life that is genuinely worth living.
