About Jazmond
Dear next client,
It is my life's journey to make mental health care services more accessible for all! For far too long, mental health has been treated as a luxury within our society, primarily being provided to select members. This has led many to the unfortunate belief that one has to be "crazy" or "rich" in efforts to obtain a therapist. Instead, we have normalized our struggles, and learned to mask our pain through unhealthy coping habits coupled with ineffective relationships.
I hope to provide you with a safe space, where you can learn ways to heal from generational trauma, and adapt healthy tools which guide you towards your life's dreams. A space where you can grow healthy relationships in your life, learn to love others, and allow others to love you. You more than deserve it!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving the states of Colorado and Texas. I obtained my master's degree from the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work, and have over 10 years of experience in helping others. I specialize in individual, group, and family therapy, and work with clients grappling with a spectrum of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, traumatic brain injuries, mood and personality disorders, and PTSD (including childhood sexual trauma or abuse).
I originally hail from the vibrant city of Chicago, Illinois. Growing up, I developed a profound awareness of the impact untreated mental health issues can have on one's daily life. This realization ignited my passion for becoming a therapist. Beyond my professional pursuits, I find solace in the Colorado mountains, exploring various trails with my pup, Casanova. I am also an enthusiastic traveler, having had explored diverse corners of the world, with Cancun holding a special place in my heart. My artistic flair finds expression through painting and creating unique hairstyles. Guided by the belief that life is a singular opportunity, I try to embrace each moment with the understanding that seizing the present leads to a life truly worth living.
Contact me today, so we can begin your journey of healing.
Yours truly,
"Take control of your emotions, stop letting them control you!"
